“WHERE DO I START IF I WANT TO RENOVATE MY CONDO?”

The first step is to talk to your condo board about what you would like to accomplish. Ask out about any restrictions and get details from them on how best to proceed. For design ideas, magazines or online searches are good ways to find inspiration. Our in house designers will bring your ideas together to create an optimal functional design.RENU solutions are designed specifically for condos.

“HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT CONTRACTOR?”

When it comes to choosing a contractor the cheapest option often costs more in the long run and can create headaches for the homeowner. RENU only uses licensed trades, fully insured with liability and WSI insurance coverage.

“WHAT TYPES OF RENOVATIONS DO I NEED APPROVAL FOR?”

For most renovations such as kitchens and bathrooms, you will need to notify and seek approval from the Condo Board and/or Management. You will also need to arrange for Contractor access to use the elevators for their work.

“CAN I RENOVATE MY CONDO ANY TIME OF THE DAY?”

Toronto noise bylaws only allow construction activity from 7am-7pm. Most condo boards restrict construction times to between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and do not allow work on weekends.

Once you have contacted the Condo Board or Management and we all know what is allowed we will schedule accordingly and get the work done as fast as possible.

“WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE TO COMMON AREAS?”

RENU takes extreme care during the construction process and is insured to cover any damage that may occur to lobbies, hallways, carpeting, and walls in common areas that might happen as a result of their work.
